Guaranteed Rank On Page 1 of Google Or Your Money back!

Working with a Michigan SEO agency has proven to produce ongoing results for local businesses since the dawn of the internet. Currently, businesses report that 53% of their revenue is from search engine traffic, based on a report from BrightEdge. Google is the king of search engines and if you’re not ranking in Google you’re missing out on at least 2x revenue for the year. As an agency we push for more than that. Local Businesses with return customers see over 1000% ROI from SEO and a life time ROI of over 4000%!

What REAL Results From SEO Look Like

Let’s be honest, SEO companies can be pretty shady because they know the average business owner has limited knowledge when it comes to SEO. So they give you reports you don’t understand, show you ranking increases and repeat “ranking takes time” like a broken record.

If you’re questioning whether your current SEO company is actually producing results or not, watch the video below for some free tips that you can do to audit your own local presence on Google.

mobile-ranking-on-Google

We’re not your average agency offering the same SEO services and sub-par results as most agencies out there. We take an approach that makes you money continuously and we don’t get caught up in vanity metrics and ranking increases that don’t matter. We also hate saying that we provide SEO, because it’s much more than that. We care about traffic that results in customers coming through your door, calling you on the phone, and essentially putting money in your pocket,

With businesses reporting as much as 1,000% return on their investment and online leads/sales being more than half of their revenue, you’d think SEO was some kind of silver bullet. The problem occurs when half of the SEO community isn’t taking care of their customers and doing what they’re supposed to, which is make you money! Here at Blue Lake Web Design if we can’t make you money we won’t take you on as a client.

What is SEO?

Simply put, SEO is the process of getting you to the top of Google when someone searches for your keywords. There are 2 types of keywords when it comes to local businesses in Google maps. There are more when it comes to content, but when it comes to driving revenue for your business, your focus keywords are going to be the categories your business falls into in Google Maps.

2 Types of Keywords

  1. Primary Keywords
  2. Secondary Keywords

Your primary keywords are usually the category you’re listed in and keywords that are relevant to that. So if you’re a roofer, your primary keywords will be “roofer, roofing, roofing company” and so on. Your secondary keywords might be the types of roof you install, or different services like gutter repair, roof repair, and so on.

Getting your business to the top of Google search for your primary and secondary keywords is the process of SEO.

Included in Our SEO Process:

SEO Audit

Every SEO campaign should start with a comprehensive audit of the website, search presence, and competitors. Here’s what’s completed in our SEO Audit:

  • Technical and On-page SEO Audit of website
  • Analysis in Google Maps
  • Analysis of Google Search
  • Local grid rank benchmarking
  • Determine if pages are blocked from crawling
  • Pin point orphaned pages
  • Keyword gap analysis
  • Content gap analysis
  • Backlink analysis
  • HTML to text ratio
  • Content cluster analysis

Technical SEO

This is done first along with onsite optimizations. It’s sometimes confused with on page optimization but its more technical optimizations like:

  • Site speed
  • Sitemap optimization
  • robots.txt edits
  • Schema markup and structured data
  • The structure of the website and hierarchy of blog posts and pages
  • Google search console analysis and implementation of tasks
  • Fixing crawl errors
  • Security (SSL)
  • Canonicalization
  • Broken links
  • Minimizing page depth of URLs

Every site is different so a proper analysis is required up front to decide what is needed.

On-page Optimization

Optimizations we make to individual pages such as:

  • Content optimizations
  • Meta data
  • Hierarchy of headings (H1, H2, etc)
  • Readability of content, adding bold, bullets
  • Topic clustering
  • Image and exif optimization
  • Keyword consistency

This is a simplified list, but the on-site part of our strategy does get pretty technical when we start incorporating aspects of natural language and really optimizing the content.

Local SEO

More commonly referred to as local SEO or GMB optimization, it is the process of optimizing your Google Business Profile (GBP) formerly known as your Google My Business profile nad increasing your presence in Google Maps. We complete tasks such as:

  • Monthly GBP Posts
  • Category optimization
  • Services, Menus, and other relevant features
  • Location optimization
  • Optimize description
  • Answer reviews
  • Build Google business site

Content Creation

Content ties everything together and is good way to have a reason to interlink properties together, but also shouldn’t be random.

Create an informational pathway with helpful content that guides the reader where they need to go.

We continually publish content EVERYWHERE! Your GBP, your website, press releases, guest posts, social sites, and anywhere else. Part of our strategy is creating 20-40 profiles for you and we’re publishing content on all of them.

All of our content is optimized with natural language and with a focus keyword. If we do a social media post, there’s a reason for it and we’re optimizing it. For example we’re using Twitter to get free links and drive traffic. Thats just one out of 40 potential properties, and this is only a fraction of our strategy. The main goal with publishing content to your site and other places on the web is increasing your traffic. Organic, direct, and referral. All of it!

That’s what we do with content. We don’t jsut publish to publish, we create contetn that drives traffic.

Press Releases

If you’re not continually putting news out on your busienss you’re doing yourself a huge injustice. Part of our SEO package includes PR every single month!

PR is a good way to connect nodes on the internet, but its also a great way to syndicate and rank content. Nodes are just sites that are similar, could be yours or others that are highly relevant that you would either link out to, or they would link to you. To not get to technical, let’s say we have a link to our website, we could then take that page and tweet it out. After tweeting it we can embed that tweet into a page (we do not care if the tweet is nofollow here, it doesn’t matter) and then link out to the page within a press release. And link out to other relevant properties or external properties from the company to give relevance to the pool of nodes.

We’re not using PR how the typical agencies use it. We’re using it to actually get the needle moving and increase rank.

We sprinkle in a lot of other optimizations so to speak. We know how Google thinks and we know what turns their AI brain on and gets them crawling the site.

We might do a podcast one week, and do some backlinking next month. We also have software that can tell us what the algorithm wants and where a site is lacking at or how a competitors is taking market share from them with their content strategy.

So there’s a ton of micro tasks we add in as we go along that really adds the power to our SEO campaigns and it’s hard to classify these tasks under one thing. However backlinks, visits, clicks, reviews, and about 40 other metrics we focus on increasing can be classified as user engagement metrics.
